External batteries are so essential these days to keep your gadgets up and running at certain circumstances. For a gadget freak like me, I badly need emergency charge to keep my gadgets alive. Couple of weeks back I written about Dexim Super Juice case for the iPhone. It was good but it makes your iPhone looks heavy and bulky. So today I got hands on with Power Junkie – a 5000mAh emergency charger for all your gadgets.

As you can see on the picture above, Power Junkie is a compact 5000mAh emergency charger that can fully charge an iPhone 4.5 times, an iPod Touch 7 times and an iPod Nano an amazing 10 full charges. Not sure about the iPad 3rd generation since its a new launched product, but I hope with the 1A output it can charge the iPad.

Charging the Power Junkie takes a little while and it took more than 5 hours for a full charge. I don’t complain because it takes that time for charging up a 5000mAh battery. So overall its a must-have accessories due to the extensive use of mobile phones on our day to day activity. Hopefully the next generation mobile phones batteries delivers a better battery backup.
