Finally @pod2g the hacker behind the iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 has announced on this blog “You’d be able to free your iPhone in some hours”. Yes as he said the jailbreak will be released today in few hours. So keep watching this space for more updates.

Pod2g also confirmed the name of the tool “Absinthe” developed by the Chronic Dev Team which will install the untether on your device. Also the iPhone Dev Team will release a CLI (command line) tool to help diagnose issues and repair things if it goes wrong.
