How To Use iFaith To Save SHSH Blobs Of Any Firmware On iOS Device
iFaith a new tool from @iH8sn0w the create of sn0wbreeze. iFaith tool dumps the SHSH blobs of the current firmware on your iOS device and creates a pre-signed IPSW. The hacker is said to be working on this project for more than 5 month and yesterday he released iFaith to the public. So lets have a look and how to use iFaith and store the SHSH blobs of your present iOS.
What I loved about iFaith was its feature to save the SHSH blobs on your local drive and also the software by default takes a copy on the server.
Step 1: Download iFaith from here
Step 2: After downloading, open the program and select Dump SHSH blobs
Step 3: In the next step, iFaith shows a little information. Just click Proceed and once again hit on Lets Go.
Step 4: Now follow the instructions as said in the iFaith window.
Note: In order to successfully dump, you need to follow those steps carefully. Make sure you turn off your iOS device, before going ahead with the process.
To enter DFU mode, follow these steps
- Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds
- Now release the Power button but continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds
- You device should now be in DFU mode
The dumping process take a bit of time, so please be patient until iFaith ask you to save the SHSH blobs. While dumping if iTunes may popup close it.
Step 5: Once the dumping process is over, you would be asked to save the SHSH on your local drive.
As I said previously, iFaith saves your SHSH blobs on both local disk and on its server. So, even if you lose it, its not a big deal. In order to try iFaith, your iOS device has to be jailbroken. If you haven’t follow our jailbreak tutorials for the respective iOS device.
