How To Unlock iOS 4.3.3 On iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 With Ultrasn0w 1.2.3
The iPhone Dev Team has released Ultrasn0w 1.2.3 which can unlock iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4 running on older baseband version. Remember, Ultrasn0w 1.2.3 cannot unlock iPhone 3Gs or iPhone 4 on latest baseband like 2.10, 3.10 and 4.10. Below you can find the supported baseband on iPhone 4 and iPhone 3Gs using Ultrasn0w 1.2.3
- iPhone 4 with baseband 1:59:00
- iPhone 3G baseband with 4:26:08, 5:11:07, 5:12:01, 5:13:04, 6:15:00 iPad BB
Before trying the process, you should own a jailbroken iPhone which requires a carrier unlock. If that,s so, then follow the instruction below. If you haven’t jailbroken your iPhone yet, follow the instruction using Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc15 or Sn0wbreeze 2.7. We recommend you to try Sn0wbreeze 2.7 which preserves your baseband without updating.
Step 1: Open Cydia and navigate to Manage Tab > Sources and click Edit to add a new repo.
Step 2: Type http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com and tap on Add Source.
Step 3: After adding the repo, come back to source and install Ultrasn0w 1.2.3 from Ultrasn0w repo.
Step 4: Now insert your SIM. Voila your iPhone is now unlocked.
Note: The Ultrasn0w 1.2.3 cannot unlock any latest baseband that are yet to be unlocked.
