Couple of minutes back iPhone Dev Team has released “Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1″ to the public. The iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak was done by @pod2g a well known hacker who is responsible for previous jailbreaks. He previously demonstrated the untethered jailbreak and we written about it too.

Supported iOS Device:

• iPhone 4
• iPhone 3GS
• iPod Touch 4
• iPod Touch 3
• iPad 1

(No support for the A5 chips which mean no support for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2)

This is a great news for all iOS users. I will be soon posting the detailed tutorial on how to untether jailbreak iOS 5.0.1. So stay tuned with us.
